A man imprisoned in the prison pits in the Dreamlands who was put in Arthur and John's pit as a test. Arthur kills him after the discovery that he'd killed the last person with whom he shared a pit. Arthur had to eat his flesh to survive, and John had to relive his death the whole time, due to his ability to see the death of any dead flesh Arthur touches. Faust's sharpened femur was later used to dig a step out of the pit and as a potential weapon during their escape.
